PRIDO Presents: The Gamilee Experience 2 returns to Band on the Wall following the success of its sold-out first edition.

Free Inclusive Creativity & Music Training is being offered by DIY Theatre Company, in partnership with Salford CEP, for education staff and creative practitioners working in schools.
The practical session will explore inclusive ways to use creative play and music to engage learners, build communication and support inclusion. It will be co-led by inclusive music specialist Sarah Atter, DIY Theatre Company’s Creative Director Sue Caudle, and DIY leaders with lived experience of learning disability.
The End of a Golden String: MA Degree Show 2026 launches on Wednesday 7 October, celebrating a diverse range of multidisciplinary and participatory art, design and interactive creative technology.
The exhibition features work from MA pathways in Socially Engaged Art, Socially Engaged Photography, Contemporary Fine Art, Visual Communication and Creative Technology, alongside MA Animation, MSc Games and Extended Reality, and MA Fashion Business and Marketing.

SEE MY WORLD are looking for volunteers to help bring their upcoming Film Festival to life at Contact, Manchester. Opportunities include audience engagement, festival production, artist and filmmaker support, photography, videography and social media.
Volunteers will gain experience across event management, production, audience engagement and more, with expenses covered and opportunities to connect with filmmakers, artists and creatives across the cultural sector.
Celebrate Salford’s 100th birthday with a spectacular outdoor extravaganza in Seedley Park, created by outdoor arts pioneers Walk the Plank.
Expect aerial performance, live music, DJs, dancers, lanterns, a glowing Time Capsule, the Wagon Train of inventions and the return of the gigantic birthday cake. The evening will culminate in a huge fire drawing designed by young people and a fireworks finale.
The event is inclusive and suitable for families, with level ground and bench-style seating available.
Applications are open for this national fund supporting new play commissions across the UK. Six grants of up to £6,000 will be awarded to joint proposals from playwrights and producing venues or companies, helping support ambitious new writing.
