Founded in 2015, Dangerous To Know is a theatre company that remains proudly rooted in the North of England.

Our works bring the hidden side of modern history and social politics to the stage, giving a voice to those who are too often forgotten and delivering tangible change wherever we can.

We constantly chase our ambitions, offering fair pay and exciting opportunities to our contributors and presenting engaging, accessible events to communities across the north and beyond.

We also offer screenings of our work, along with activities and workshops for educational institutions, community groups and workplaces, featuring themes of creativity and positive social change.

Previous projects include the Off West End award-winning On Me (2022, 2024, 2025), which focused on female safety, male responsibility and the pursuit of love in troubling times - and Make It (2026), hailed as 'a really important piece of theatre, covering an incredibly significant feeling' and 'a reasoned debate on the value of the arts'.
